Job Designation: ITI Carpenter (Fresher)
Job Description:
• Interpret design plans and blueprints to understand furniture specifications.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to design requirements.
• Assemble modular furniture components using woodworking tools such as saws, drills, and sanders.
• Install hardware components such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides.
• Ensure that finished products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other team members to resolve any design or production issues.
• Maintain and repair woodworking machinery as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Keep track of inventory and report any shortages or defects in materials.
• Assist in the packaging and shipping of finished furniture pieces.
Job Specification:
Education & Experience:
• ITI certification in Carpentry
• Knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
• 0-1 year of experience working as a Carpenter in modular furniture manufacturing.
• Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and design plans.
• Proficiency in operating woodworking machinery such as saws, drills, and sanders.
• Familiarity with different types of wood, plywood, laminates, and hardware used in furniture construction.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions effectively.
