Job Title: Energy Meter Testing Engineer
Location: Bhopal Region (Preferred: Bhopal – Local Candidates Preferred)
Experience: Minimum 1 Years
Qualification: ITI Electrical
Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Energy Meter Testing Engineer to join our field operations team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in metering work, including energy meter installation, testing, or meter reading. This is a field-based role requiring travel to various locations for testing and inspection.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site energy meter testing and verification as per company and regulatory standards.
Perform installation checks, load testing, and accuracy analysis of meters.
Ensure proper documentation of testing results using mobile apps or forms.
Coordinate with utility personnel and customers during field visits.
Report defects, irregularities, or tampering in metering systems.
Ensure safety protocols and procedures are strictly followed during site activities.
Requirements:
ITI in Electrical (minimum 1 years of experience in energy metering work).
Must own a two-wheeler (bike) for field mobility.
Must have an Android smartphone for data recording and reporting.
Candidates with experience in meter reading, testing, or installation will be given preference.
Should be comfortable working in field environments and travelling regularly.
Preferred Location:
Candidates residing in or near Bhopal, especially from Bhopal, will be preferred for easier commute and field coverage.
