The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM) with a strong focus on event management, infrastructure monitoring, and automation. This role requires hands-on experience in configuring, implementing, and optimizing event correlation and alert management systems. Proficiency in ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB, and Discovery is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and manage event management processes and tools.
- Monitor and analyze event data to identify trends and potential issues.
- Develop and maintain event correlation rules and alert thresholds.
- Implement and maintain comprehensive IT infrastructure monitoring solutions.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Ensure proactive monitoring and alerting of critical IT infrastructure components.
- Configure, implement, and optimize event correlation and alert management systems.
- Develop and refine alert policies to minimize false positives and ensure timely incident response.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex event correlation and alert management issues.
- Utilize ServiceNow ITOM modules for event management, infrastructure monitoring, and automation.
- Configure and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Implement and manage ServiceNow Discovery to automate the population of the CMDB.
- Analyze complex ITOM data to identify root causes of issues and recommend solutions.
- Provide expert troubleshooting support for ITOM-related incidents.
- Develop and maintain documentation for ITOM processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective ITOM implementation and support.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Participate in ITOM strategy and planning sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- 6-8 years of experience in IT Operations Management (ITOM).
- Strong hands-on experience in event management.
- Proven ability to configure, implement, and optimize event correlation and alert management systems.
- Extensive experience in IT infrastructure monitoring and automation.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
