All Our ITS Positions Are Full-Time And Permanent Opportunities With 40 Hours Guaranteed. We Are Currently Hiring For Several Key Positions Within Our Intelligent Transport Systems Division
Line Mechanics: You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of essential transport infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure our systems operate smoothly and efficiently.
Electricians: As an electrician, you'll play a vital role in powering our intelligent transport systems. You'll work on installation and maintenance tasks, ensuring all electrical systems meet safety standards.
Important Skills Nga pūkenga matua
Electricians : Must be a New Zealand registered Electrician and have a current Electricians practising license with the EWRB. Line Mechanics: Must be New Zealand registered Line Mechanic or have Street light Level Standard.
Previous experience as an electrician or line mechanic; preferably with a focus on ITS or similar systems is highly desirable.
A valid full class 1 driver’s license is required.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in electrical work. Commitment to maintaining a zero-harm work environment.
Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, control systems, and technology integration as well as solid computer skills and exposure to a wide variety of computer application.
Willingness to work in various conditions and adapt to changing project requirements as there is an occasional requirement to travel and stay away from home.
