The Strathcona Hotel in Victoria British Columbia is looking for janitorial staff to join our team. Are you passionate about cleaning and creating a space for guests to have a home away from home? Then this job is for you!
Hours: 3:00am- 11:30am
Duties and Responsibilities
Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming
Clean, service and stock washrooms
Scrubbing walls
Remove trash, and recycling
Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
Clean windows, glass partition and mirrors
Steam clean or shampoo carpets
Clean up around property and sidewalks
Dust, polish and remove marks from walls and furnishings
Vacuum carpets and floor care duties

Positive attitude
Whmis certification
Ability to work with limited supervision
Must be able to lift 20lbs
Comfortable with repetitive motions
Comfortable standing for long periods of time
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and cleanliness
Must work well as a team
Must be able to work graveyard shifts
Must be available to work weekends
