As a Senior Event Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the success of Wolters Kluwer's global events portfolio. You will be responsible for autonomously managing complex, high-impact events from initial concept to final execution, ensuring they align with our brand standards and business objectives. This position may require overseeing a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Take the lead in the comprehensive planning and execution of corporate events, encompassing internal meetings, client-focused activations, and strategic conferences, primarily Tier 1 and 2 events.
• Craft detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to guarantee impeccable execution and alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate across various departments including marketing, sales, communications, and executives to establish event objectives and success metrics.
• Act as the main point of contact for assigned events, overseeing logistics, communications, and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Source, negotiate, and oversee third-party vendors such as venues, production teams, and creative partners, as necessary.
• Ensure all events uphold brand integrity, comply with standards, and provide a top-quality experience for attendees.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation and reporting for all assigned projects, including budgets, timelines, and final reconciliations.
• Champion initiatives that improve operational efficiency, foster innovation, and uphold service excellence throughout the team.
Requirements:
• At least 8 years of event management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, primarily within the US and EMEA, with additional global travel as required.

Compensation:
$71,300.00 - $124,500.00 USD
This role is eligible for a bonus.
