Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Japanese-English Experienced Interpreter focused on Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) and Over-the-Phone Interpreting (OPI). The interpreter will be responsible for providing accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation services, facilitating communication between parties who do not speak the same language. Day-to-day tasks include conducting VRI and OPI calls, ensuring high-quality interpretation, and maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
Qualifications
• Fluency in Japanese and English languages
• Experience in Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) and Over-the-Phone Interpreting (OPI)
• Strong cultural competence and sensitivity
• Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Knowledge of industry-specific terminology
• Relevant certification or training in interpretation
• Experience in a similar role is a must
