Java Android Application Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Java Android Application Developer to join our team. As a Java Android Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications using Java and the latest Android frameworks. You will work closely with our cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and software engineers to deliver exceptional mobile experiences to our users.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java and the Android SDK.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

3. Write clean, efficient, and reusable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.

4. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of the applications.

5. Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and efficiency.

6. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Android development.

7. Continuously improve the quality and efficiency of our Android applications.

8. Work closely with the UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

10. Collaborate with the backend development team to integrate mobile applications with server-side technologies.

11. Troubleshoot and resolve issues and bugs reported by users or stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in developing Android applications using Java and the Android SDK.

3. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.

4. Proficient in Java, XML, and other relevant programming languages and technologies.

5. Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and other Android development tools.

6. Knowledge of Android UI/UX design principles and best practices.

7. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating mobile applications with backend services.

8. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
