We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Software Engineer
In this role, you will:
• Develop world-class high-quality Restful APIs in Springboot and Kong.
• Own API delivery end-to-end i.e. design, build, test, deployment, and production support.
• Understand API consumer requirements and provide the best fitment out of the shelf APIs
• Guide and support the consumer about best consumption practices till production deployment
• Deploy APIs onto on-prem/Cloud platforms such that no disruption to existing API consumers.
• Collaborate with consumers and backend teams to build and review API specs.
• Implement the latest Engineering standards in all new workload and avoid technical debt
• Be an innovation Engineer by doing continuous improvement in API life cycle including automation and learning.
• Perform peer review and guide junior team members.
• Analyse technical issues and provide solutions with effective use of existing techniques and/or tools.
• Actively participate in critical production incidents triage as Level2 Engineer
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Experience on JAVA, J2EE and Spring Boot APIs is a must.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities is a must.
• Self-motivated and ability work independently is a must.
• Experience of 1-5 years in IT industry is desirable
• Experience on API Security & Swagger OAS is desirable
• Experience on Docker & Kubernetes is desirable
• Experience in tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, Splunk, AppDynamics is desirable.
• Strong communication skill is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of Agile (scrum methodologies) and JIRA is desirable.
• Knowledge of any cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure) is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Springboot
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills
• Great Hunger for learning new technologies and tools
• Strong urge to challenge status quo
• Good TO have - Exposure to AI/ML and its usage in banking
• Exposure to Python, Kotlin
