Job Description
Key responsibilities and skills
The candidate will be part of the products development team. We expect the team member to be able to work autonomously while also being a team-player and reaching out to the overall team when required. The candidate will be responsible for the development of a specific area or new concepts and creating proof-of-concept prototypes.
Job requirements:
• Strong skills and experience in Java (Standard and EE) and Java-related technologies.
• Strong skills and experience using the Java Spring framework.
• Knowledge of the tools/platforms:
• Kafka (preferred) or “generic” message queues/brokers
• Elasticsearch stack – including Grafana; in alternative, “market standard” NoSQL databases
• (optional) JBPM, Camunda, or other BPMN-enabled tools.
• Concepts of containerization, containers, and container management systems; Docker and Kubernetes are preferred.
• Solid concepts of distributed systems, messaging and integration patterns.
• Solid concepts and experience in implementing design patterns.
• Knowledge and experience working with relational databases; valued experience in concepts like indexes, query plans, procedures/functions, partitioning, and "advanced" SQL.
• Experience and understanding of software development concepts and tools like:
• Working with Source control tools (git preferred) with distributed teams.
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
• Automatic testing.
• Maven (or other build management systems)
• Experience with Azure DevOps preferred.
• Healthy software development principles like clean-code or SOLID.
• Static code analysis (Sonarqube)
