Responsibilities
We are looking for an Architect to join our Engineering team. Architect will be a go to person for all technology related topics, issues, discussions for both our customers as well internal projects and competency teams. As an Architect, you will:
• Design system architectures, approaches, implement and deliver them.
• Lead, coach team members, provide design solutions to teams, review the deliverables .
• Lead competency teams, create upskilling plans, mentor them. Help in recruiting right candidates from the market.
• Develop and maintain highly re-usable centralized Component library
• Help teams adopt and contribute to common tooling, frameworks, and seed repositories
• Gather input, ideas, and perspectives from developers, designers, and product managers across the organization to identify opportunities for improvement, collaboration, and impact.
• Establish processes and techniques for effectively sharing and versioning libraries and components across teams and products
• Use technology to solve business problems and drive positive outcomes
• Build a scalable technology platform to support a growing business
• Deliver high-quality code to production, consistently
• Building micro-services using Java, Spring Boot
• Write crisp, concise, clear and structured Java code with best practices
• Building and maintaining the common libraries, SDKs, and relevant documentation
• Integration with various third-party systems.
• Experience of development of front-end/back-end applications, leading a team.
• Working with global teams
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) with 18+ years of relevant experience
• Master's degree in Computer science will be an added advantage
• Proficient in building backend applications on Java, Spring Boot, Micro-Services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts, architecture, and technical strategy to other teams and leadership
• Must Have experience in: Java, Spring Boot, Micro Services, AWS Cloud, DevOps, Kafka, Kubernetes, Server-less, various SQL/ NO-SQL Databases
• Experience working in highly collaborative teams
• Experience designing/developing scalable systems
• Event-driven architecture and messaging frameworks (Pub/Sub, Kafka, and/or RabbitMQ
