As a Software Engineer II in Securities Service Technology within Corporate & Investment Banking, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm’s state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As an emerging member of a software engineering team, you execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role.
Job responsibilities:
Application design & development in support of the on-going application build out.
Code analysis and problem ownership to resolution. Provides design recommendations, developing and integrating programs per written specifications
Assist in code review to ensure the application adheres to the firm standards. Develops and tests software application modules using disciplined software development processes.
Drive for User Acceptance Testing phases, by working with the Central Testing Group and Trade Utility Test team to identify, fix and deliver controlled changes into our test environments
Participate in Agile ceremonies – Daily scrum, sprint planning, and sprint retrospective.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience.
Hands-on software development experience in Java /JEE along with strong analytical and design skills.
Candidate should be flexible to learn new technologies and should build good understanding of the financial domain.
Hands-on practical experience in Java/JEE, Oracle PL/SQL, AWS, Kubernetes, Spring, Spring Boot
Hibernate, Maven, Linux platforms
CI tools – Jenkins/Hudson
Junit, Exposure to integration/automated testing frameworks (Citrus, Cucumber etc.)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
IBM MQ
Drools
Knowledge of SWIFT Messaging Standards
