Navi Mumbai Exp: 4-6 Years Job Responsibilities:
Develop full lifecycle software features (requirements, design, build, test) in Java and JavaScript. You will spend 80+% of your time coding. Determine, design, and implement core navigation capabilities to prevent common site change navigation issues. Diagnose difficult site navigation problems. Build and enhance tools to make it easier to diagnose site navigation problems. Reverse engineer web browser behavior. Analyze performance problems in the navigation system and develop improvements Analyze existing code and expand test coverage. Ability to work collaboratively with a geographically distributed team.
Support other development teams that use the site navigation tools and capabilities Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent experience. 5+ years of software development experience. 2+ years of software development experience using Java, JavaScript, and HTML Familiarity with the HTTP protocol and web browser behavior. Familiarity with AJAX and dynamic webpage rendering. Expertise using regular expressions (regex) to locate and correlate elements in an HTML page. Proficient in object-oriented development. Experience performing test-driven, iterative development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience with scripting the Chrome web browser. Experience with site scraping or web crawlers. Experience with HTTP cookies and similar state management mechanisms. Experience working with Fiddler, Chrome developer tools or similar web diagnostic tools. Familiarity with popular JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, etc.). Experience working the WebSocket protocol. Experience querying log data with Splunk or similar tools
