Role: Backend Engineer
As a Back-End Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain the server-side logic of web applications. You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and database administrators to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient back-end systems. Your role will involve writing clean and maintainable code, optimizing database queries, and ensuring the security and performance of the server-side infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and design efficient and scalable back-end solutions. Develop server-side logic, APIs, and web services using programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby. Design and optimize database schemas and queries for efficient data retrieval and storage.
Skills
• Minimum of 12 years of experience with strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience with back-end frameworks and technologies such as Spring, Django, or Ruby on Rails.
• Proficient in database management systems, SQL, and query optimization. Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and code repositories. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to debug and troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to adapt to changing technologies and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE Programmer, AWS Certified Developer, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate are preferred.
