Business Unit Overview: The Aladdin Provider Technology team within APG-Investment Operations Group is responsible to provide innovative, best-in-class engineering solutions to bring the Asset Managers and Asset Servicers closer to bring efficiencies in the post trade value chain. Team is responsible for building cross-organizational technology capabilities which are repeatable to cater to Aladdin and Aladdin Provider clients. The engineering team applies modern technology languages and solutions to build data pipelines, API(s) and Event Based streaming systems.
We are a global distributed team with employees based in New York, London, San Francisco, and Gurgaon.
Responsibilities
• Partner with product owners, technical architects and other team partners to contribute as a member of global distributed teams focused on delivering quality technology solutions.
• Participates in the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies.
• Understand and refine business and functional requirements and convert them into scalable technical design.
• Demonstrate ability to rapidly learn new and emerging technologies
Experience Required
• Bachelors or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related subject area
• Deep understanding with 4+ years hands-on experience developing innovative enterprise software systems.
• Strong Programming expertise in Java, microservices, frameworks like Spring / Spring-boot and hibernate is a must
• Strong understanding of Data Structures & algorithms
• Preferred experience on SQL and No-SQL databases
• Proficient with Software Development Live Cycle
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate ability to be a self-starter and learn quickly
Nice To Have
• Some Experience with Cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, Kafka, Cassandra, Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Finance, Investments and Post Trade processes

Our hybrid work model
