The Data Engineer works within the Informatics team to implement and maintain the enterprise catalogue of Geoscience Australia. The enterprise catalogue implements the Geoscience Australia metadata profile based on ISO 19115-3 metadata standard. The Data Engineer reports to the Iteration Manager and is part of an Agile multi-disciplinary team. They work closely with other developers, data scientists and engineers within the Digital Science and Information (DiSI) branch, as well as diverse stakeholders both within and external to GA.
