Job Description: JAVA Developer

Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing Java-based application and software. Implement software systems and backend services. A role of JAVA developer is one of the key roles in the complete development cycle of the project. Below mentioned are the indicative responsibilities and required skill sets, which may change as per the requirement of client -

Responsibilities:

· Define code review process for the team to follow and perform code reviews

· Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency

· Ensure application designs conform with business goals

· Develop and test software

· Identify and resolve any technical issues arising

· Create detailed design documentation

· Propose changes to current Java infrastructure

· Develop technical designs for application development

· Write well designed, testable code

· Conducting code analysis, testing, and debugging

· Manage Java and Java EE application development

· Transforming requirements into stipulations

· Prepare and build releases of software components

· Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience developing web applications using J2EE / Java

• Education – BE/B.Tech/MCA/MCS/MSc (IT)/MSc (CS)

• Possess experience in end-to-end Development.

• Possess knowledge and skills in software programming in Core Java, J2EE, Microservices related technologies, Spring Boot, Rest API, JavaScript, XML.

• Experience developing enterprise-level web applications and RESTful APIs using Microservices.

• Experience in API Management.

• Excellent in design patterns, data structures & algorithms, OOAD.

• Experience in using version control and CI / CD tools.

• Experience in code refactoring and performance tuning of application.

• Exposure to application security is highly desired.

• Knowledge in any one of popular cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).

• Strong implementation experience using Test Driven Development, Domain Driven Design and clean code principles.

• Should have excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills

• Must have knowledge in version management system like GIT

• Working experience on different IDEs like Eclipse, STS, IntelliJ

• Must have analytical and debugging skills

• Experience in working with the E-Government Projects/ CCTNS application / Experience in working with Police/Law enforcement agencies would be preferred
