Your role
Strong Java Developer with good analytical and technical skills with 7+ years’ experience in Core Java, REST API, Microservices, Spring framework, relational DBs with good exposure in Microsoft azure. Candidate should be able to work independently, good communication skills, and should have experience in working on large complex development projects. Applies skills and knowledge of the tools to develop creative solutions to meet client and business needs.
• professional with a career reflecting tech leadership abilities coupled with "hands on" experience in a diverse range of software projects
• strong exposure on core java, spring, spring boot, rest apis and microservices – Need to have
• understanding of relational databases (atleast one of oracle, sql server);
• exposure on cloud integration and container services - Need to have
• good understanding of agile based execution processes
• proven skills in performance tuning and quality improvements
• prior financial/banking experience is highly desirable
• exposure to CRM will be added advantage
• nice to have - experience with enterprise integration and messaging related technologies such as Kafka, jms, and mq
Your team
You’ll be working in the UBS Global Wealth Management, Field Platforms team in Pune, India. You'll be an integral part of a global team working with associates located in Poland and North Americas.
GWM - US provides advice-based solutions through financial advisors who deliver a fully integrated set of products and services specifically designed to address the needs of ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals and families. It includes the domestic US business, the domestic Canadian business and international business booked in the US
Your expertise
• 5 - 8 years of experience in application development for medium to large complex applications using java, springboot/ spring framework, rest apis, junit/testng, mockito, orm frameworks like hibernate
• experience in multi-threaded java application development
• experience on messaging related technologies such as jms, mq and/or kafka
• experience in caching using redis or any other caching techniques
• experience in designing databases, writing pl/sql scripts and stored procedures in rdbms like oracle, db2
• exposure on cloud platforms like microsoft azure and container services
• experience in maven, git, ci/cd using gitlab/ jenkins
• excellent oral and written communication skills
• ability to collaborate and communicate with multiple stakeholders and teams
• suggest optimal application development solutions to meet or exceed business objectives
• good understanding on object-oriented design concepts, applying the design patterns, sdlc/agile methodology
• develop best practices to ensure coding efficiency and quality
• troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
