Job Description
We are looking for a Java Engineer who will provide maintenance and support for our application and develop web-based customer solutions for a variety of payments innovations.
This is the ideal role for someone with technical knowledge in Java, MySQL& experience in application maintenance and support. Exposure to financial services/ payments/ digital wallets would be an added advantage.
• The Java Support Engineer will be responsible for maintenance and support of our application.
• Ensure clean and quality code practices. The goal is to develop a fully parameterized platform which enables speed to market & quick geographic expansion.
• Ensure disciplined processes for deployment & version management
Knowledge/Experience/Technical skills:
• Minimum 1+ years experience as a developer in Java-based applications, specifically:
• Java/J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Spring, Hibernate, AngularJS
• MySQL, Oracle, Shell Script
• Linux command and shell scripting would be an advantage
• ·Prior knowledge of Financial Services industry is an added advantage.
• A degree in computer science or engineering from a reputed institute.
• Prior experience in maintenance and support is preferred
Personal skills:
• Demonstrated experience in Passion to work in a start-up environment, where the goal is to grow 10X, not 10%
• Self-Motivated to deliver an unparalleled consumer experience.
