Java Developer JD Experience: 7 +years Responsibilities - • Participate in collaborative concept definition, architectural refinement, and software design • Follow Agile practices, with the ability to work independently and as part of the agile team • Write “clean,” well-designed code in accordance with organizational standards, technical requirements, and detailed designs. • Highly responsive in resolving issues. Creative in proposing new ideas. • Proactively communicate with Development Manager and/or Technical Lead regarding the status and potential impacts on the delivery date and/or expected quality of tasks and projects. • Actively work with Project Management and QA teams and produce technical documentation required by QA. • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality. Required Qualifications - • 6+ years of work experience, preferably with a brokerage firm/bank • Excellent analytical and technical skills utilizing object-oriented analysis and database design, relational database design • Software development experience in JAVA technologies, including J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Maven, microservices, and related development frameworks. • Experience with developing REST/JSON APIs using Java and Spring • Good knowledge of relational databases MySQL, version control tools, and of developing web services • Experience in AWS • Strong oral and written communication skills • Good Team Player with an attitude to contribute at all levels for the team's success • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
