Hybrid Working
We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We're flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time , will have a start and end date.

Introduction:
The CHARMS Team is looking for an enthusiastic Java/.NET developer with knowledge on SQL (preferably MSSQL and working knowledge on stored procedures) interested in working on this exciting project. You would be responsible for below:
1. Contribute the code changes in a very stable and widely used high-performance distributed application based on a low latency, real-time, message driven architecture using Java and spring.
2. You would be expected to understand business requirement and come up with technical solution within organisational boundaries.
What will you be doing?
Design, develop and deliver technical components for the solution. Hands on JAVA/.NET coding along with SQL (preferably MSSQL with knowledge on Stored Procedures) with strong focus on enterprise systems integration, message-oriented middleware and micro services architecture. Performance tuning to ensure acceptable application processing rates.
What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong Java/.NET development skills
• Spring and Spring Boot hands-on.
• MS SQL Server Stored Procedures hands-on.
• Knowledge on tools like GIT, STASH, NEXUS, MAVEN, Team City, Sonar Cube, Code Versioning etc.
• Strong debugging capability on JAVA based applications
• Disciplined approach to TDD or BDD
• Should have worked on production support in terms of fixing high impacting production issues (P1 and P2)
• Should be able to quickly understand existing applications.
• Strong spoken & written communication skills
• Leadership skills including ownership and responsibility
