Responsibilities:
Designing, developing, and implementing high-quality Java applications
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze user requirements and design software solutions
Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and design patterns
Conducting thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure software quality and reliability
Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members
Contributing to the improvement of development processes and methodologies
Providing technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications
Keeping up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Java development
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven work experience as a Java Developer or similar role
Strong experience in designing, building, and testing core Java applications
In-depth knowledge of popular Java frameworks like Spring MVC
Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and web services
Proficiency in Maven and Jenkins for build and deployment automation
Previous contribution to Java-based open-source projects is highly desirable
Working knowledge of Teradata DB and its utilities like QueryGrid
Familiarity with Trino/Presto is a plus
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
