The Role We are looking for a Developer who would engineer solutions that meet with SAP’s quality standards. In this role,you will work very closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, Software Developers, Designers and Domain Experts, in an Agile working model. Assume responsibility for designing, implementing, testing and deploying applications to support SAP’s Multi-cloud strategy Design Multitenant, Scalable, Fault-tolerant and Secure SaaS based applications Demonstrate Programming expertise in Java and related technologies on SAP Cloud Platform Demonstrate expertise designing microservices Communicate and collaborate professionally with team, stakeholder, customers and partners Embrace responsibility for ensuring high quality in development and maintenance Assume additional technical, organizational or coordination tasks or roles, as required Role Requirements 6-+ years of experience in software development & strong educational qualifications (Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or MCA from reputed institutes) 4+ years of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Azure or GCP) or containerization of micro services and container orchestration solutions, notably Kubernetes and Docker Strong programming background and excellent technical skills in Design, coding, testing and delivery of secure, scalable, reliable, robust and performant applications Work in a diverse team with knowledge of agile software development processes and experience with cloud development and delivery processes Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and changing business environment. Flexibility and adaptability are must haves to be successful in this role Full Stack technical Experience in Backend development (Java, Spring Boot, JPA, SQL). Frontend development (prefer in react/angular/webpack) Good hands-on knowledge on tools like -Grafana/Kibana/CICD Pipelines, Dynatrace, Unit Testing. Experience in troubleshooting performance & optimization problems including performance oriented coding Knowledge of UI Libraries and Frameworks (Ext JS etc.), Testing Frameworks and Tools (such as Karma, Mocha, Cucumber etc.) is a plus Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth) Experience in cloud security best practices & compliance requirements Experience in RDBMS (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL) Beneficial Experience or functional knowledge in Commerce Certifications in relevant technology platforms like Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Experience in working with SAP BTP cloud platform is an added advantage Bring out your best SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
