It offers simplified enrollment to facilitate mobile, in-store, online and billing payment use cases along with rewards & loyalty programs.
We are looking for a seasoned Java Engineer as Specialist, Software Development Engineering to perform new development efforts in ConnectPay. Java developer will design, develop large-scale web applications, and be involved in developing and enhancing micro services for payment orchestration, in a Cloud environment.
What does a successful Specialist, Software Development do at Fiserv?
You will be responsible for developing new Product features, enhancements, and Tech improvements. On a daily basis, a Server Engineer will spend 10% of the time reviewing designs of new features, 50% of the time developing features, 30% of the time investigating/reproducing/resolving bugs, and about 10% of the time creating tests and helpful documentation. We are interested in hiring flexible engineers who are not afraid to be involved in product discussions and work with multiple parts of the stack.
What you will do:
Design, development of new features or enhancing the existing features of ConnectPay Platform
Translating product requirements into functional, maintainable, extensible software that is in-line with company objectives.
Collaborate with multiple teams to provide technical knowhow, solutions to complex business problems.
Develop reusable assets, Create knowledge repository.
Being a team player with ability to collaborate idea sharing in strong product setting.
Adhering to Agile Sprints, Delivery Framework, and SDLC best practices
What you will need to have:
8+ years of Java experience in back end server-side software development.
Strong Java developer, with ability to prioritize assign and execute tasks throughout the entire SDLC.
3+ years of experience in building applications on AWS cloud using Serverless architecture
Experience designing and developing using RESTful APIs.
Knowledge and experience developing solutions for distributed systems architecture including micro-services.
Familiarity with one or more SQL/RDBMS systems
Adept at integrating with 3rd party API’s and tools
Superior problem-solving skills and debugging capabilities
Flexible and self driven with a collaborative approach to problem solving
What would be great to have:
5+ years of previous software engineering work, preferably in Banking and Financial, Payment industry.
