Responsibilities • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, designers, and product managers, to gather requirements and develop Java-based applications. • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, efficient, and scalable code using Java and related technologies. • Implement and maintain software components, libraries, and frameworks. • Integrate applications with various databases, APIs, and external systems. • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards. • Debug and resolve software defects and issues, and provide timely resolutions. • Optimize application performance and scalability through code refactoring, caching, and other techniques. • Collaborate with the team to continuously improve development processes, tools, and methodologies. • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Java development and related technologies, and apply that knowledge to enhance the development process and deliver cutting-edge solutions. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Proven experience in developing Java-based applications. • Strong understanding of Java programming language and object-oriented programming concepts. • Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or Java EE. • Experience with web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js). • Proficiency in using version control systems, such as Git. • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL. • Knowledge of web services (RESTful and SOAP) and API development. • Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices. • Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit) and test-driven development practices. • Understanding of Agile development methodologies and practices. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
