Position : Java Developer - USSD
Company : IT MNC company
Office Location: Mumbai / WFH is also an option
Reporting: BU Head (HQ)
Domain : Insurance and / or Finance (preferred)
Professional Qualification: MSc/MCA/BE/B. Sc: Computer Science / IT
Experience: 5yrs
Responsibilities:
• 7+ years of relevant IT experience
• Strong Java skills (Java 8)
• Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Integration)
• Experience into Micro services
• Experience with REST
• Experience into USSD would be advantageou
• JAVA Engineering outputs:
• Implement new features
• Maintaining existing code
• Good test coverage of code: JUnit and J-Meter tests
• Contributing to peer code reviews.
• Applying SOLID software development principles.
• Responsible for writing clean code that is easily maintainable.
• Actively using SonarQube to adhere to coding standards.
• Improving current code base
• Contribute to the design and solution of new features.
• GitFlow branching experience
• Agile / Scrum
• Support the USSD development and integrations.
• Engage with all stakeholders in a professional and cooperative manner
• Provide authoritative, expertise and advice to all stakeholders
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Deliver on agreements made with stakeholders in order to ensure that
• expectations are managed
• Make recommendations to improve stakeholder engagement
• Participate and contribute to the IT culture
Desired Candidate Profile:
• Strong Java skills (Java 8)
• Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring
• Integration)
• Experience into Micro services
• Experience with REST
• Experience into USSD would be advantageous
• IBM DB2 / PostgreSQL / SQL Skill
• Proven experience working in an AGILE
• environment
• Good understanding of Software Design Patterns
• Familiarity using Linux
• Junit
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity using Docker/Kubernetes
• Any Cloud experience
• RabbitMQ / Kafka
• J-Meter
