Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with expertise in Websocket, HTTP/2, gRPC, and Java to join our dynamic development team. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance web applications and services that leverage real-time communication protocols and advanced networking technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy Java-based web applications and services using
WebSocket, HTTP/2, and gRPC technologies.
Implement real-time communication channels and bidirectional data exchange using WebSocket protocol.
Optimize web application performance by leveraging the features of HTTP/2, such as multiplexing and server push.
Design and develop distributed systems using gRPC for efficient and reliable communication between microservices.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and stability of the applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, working closely with the operations team.
Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in web development and networking technologies.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering knowledge sharing and growth.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Java programming language, including experience with
Java frameworks and libraries. Minimum 5+ Years’ experience is a must.
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with WebSocket, HTTP/2, and gRPC protocols.
Familiarity with designing and developing real-time web applications and services.
Experience with web application performance optimization techniques using
HTTP/2 features.
Knowledge of distributed systems architecture and microservices development using gRPC.
Proficient in writing efficient and scalable code following best practices and design patterns.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with additional web development frameworks, such as Spring or
Java EE.
Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization technologies like
Kubernetes.
Understanding of RESTful API design principles and related frameworks.
