Your Profile:
• Hadoop with 10+ years advanced proficiency in Java application development.
• Profound command of Java emphasizing the development and maintenance of high-quality scalable code.
• In-depth comprehension of Big data/Hadoop technologies distributed computing and data processing frameworks.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills focusing on innovative and efficient solutions.
• Demonstrable experience in optimizing and fine-tuning big data applications for heightened performance and efficiency.
• 5+ years Hands-on experience with relevant tools such as Apache Hadoop Spark Kafka and other industry-standard platforms.
• Good to have external technology contributions (Noteworthy Open-Source attributions).
Your Role:
• Gathering requirements from the business analyst team.
• Analyze any new technical requirements within the development team.
• Develop and unit test the application using Java/Java 8, SPARK, Big Data etc.
• Sprint planning and attending retrospective call, daily stand-up call for the agile scrum process.
• Review the JIRA and acceptance criteria for any task planned. For the sprint with the team.
• Discussion with QA team for any QA/UAT release and discuss the test plans.
• Follow the release management process and plan for any production turnover.
• Providing support for critical production issue.
• Keeping the technical document and the project artefacts up to date.
• Planning and executing the migration of old applications to the new platform.
• Review and optimize the performance of the application on java and database side.
