Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for new feature development, optimizing / re-engineering existing product features and defect resolutions.
- Work with architect/leads on the design, impact analysis and estimation.
- Own the implementation to get it done on time and quality.
- Work with QA team to get the feature certified for release.
- Mentor and train junior members
Experience and Skills
- Strong development experience in the full life cycle of the software development process using Java/J2EE and RDBMS technologies.
- Proficient with one or more of the following technologies – Spring MVC, IOC, jQuery, JavaScript, Servlets, JSP, Core Java, JSON, XML, Java Beans, REST, SOAP, JDBC, JBoss, AJAX
- Exposure to development tools like Eclipse/NetBeans IDE, source code control systems like SVN etc.
- Exposure to database (MySQL, SQL) along with Hibernate / JPA
- Demonstrated experience in the development of complex Java-based applications.
- Application debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have experience in frontend (Html, JavaScript, JSP) and backend (Java, Servlets, Spring, Hibernate, JDBC)
