Java Full Stack Developer,AVP,Core Banking
Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation
In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test Java based web services that will be delivered to consumers via mobile applications
Create and review functional & non-functional specifications with product manager(s)
Create design documents
Participate in design and architecture discussions.
Deliver high availability, real time, and high performance server applications that will be consumed by mobile and web clients
Manage account on AWS
Ensure application is built to compliance and be able to clear security testing
Requirement:
Technical Experience in JAVA Backend Development:
JAVA 8 (collections, streams, functional programming)
Spring (core, boot, ioc, data/Hibernate, cloud-stream, security, websockets, cloud-kafka, sleuth), Junit, Mockito or like.
Understanding of API Lifecyle management, Swagger & OpenAPI 2.0 Specs,Working knowledge on REST API, SOAP protocols
Basic Linux Commands, Shell Scripting,
Hands on experience working with Spring kafka, publishing to Elastic search (elk) integration and using Kibana dashboard)
RDBMS (MySQL, MariaDB) (write simple queries or stored procedures)
Jenkins (DevOps) (use existing pipeline)
Experience in architecting and designing enterprise applications using open source technologies.
Knowledge and understanding of Private Cloud (Openshift( OCP), Docker Kubernetes etc
and/or Public Cloud (AWS - LAMBDA, SNS, Cloudwatch)/ PCF (Pivotal))c
Experience of leading, coaching, mentoring technical teams on agile methodologies , development/engineering metrics (Sonarcube/Fortify/SRE), CI/CD (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins), DevOps, Test automation (Selenium/Serenity/Postman) and Service Virtualization (Postman/SOAP UI or similar tool).
