Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Java Full Stack Engineer, located in Chennai. The Java Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining Java web applications using a variety of frameworks such as Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and RESTful Web Services. The role also involves working with front-end frameworks such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JQuery, among others. The Java Full Stack Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, identify improvements, and deliver high-quality code on schedule, all while adhering to best coding practices.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with Java web development, with proficiency in Spring Framework, Spring MVC, and Hibernate
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JQuery, among others
• Experience writing RESTful Web Services and managing APIs
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven, and other related technologies
• Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies
• Knowledge of industry standard coding practices, software design patterns and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
