Job Purpose:
This position is for Lead role of Java full stake developer with architectural experience.
The individual will join Global development team and lead the work done on designing and developing application code, review of other developer tasks, leading small development team.
The individual will work closely with Development teams, Functional teams, Operation team, Interfacing teams, and Global/Regional Program/Project stakeholders across different regions
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Designing and Building solutions for application using Java technology with backend Oracle database.
• Apply internal standards for re-use, architecture, testing and general best practices.
• Responsible for Full Software Development Life Cycle, Code reviews; test case reviews and ensures code developed meets the requirements, Component Design/ Coding/ Unit testing/ Debugging, and Level 3 production
support whenever needed.
• Responsible for the on-time delivery of high quality code with low rates of production defects
• Ensure that deployed software is scalable and reliable
• Research and recommend Technology to improve the current systems.

Knowledge/Experience:
• ++ Year Experience as Java Development with expertise in Core Java, J2EE, Spring boot, Hibernate, Open Source framework with backend Oracle DB, Microservice.
• 3+ Year Experience in Leading and Mentoring JAVA development team.
• Work in a fast paced environment with evolving requirements.
• Develop applications, including an understanding of API Platform services, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
• Candidate should be able to work with the development teams and business teams on the overall impacts of the new architecture and the new user experience.
• Candidate should have experience in designing, implementation of new functionality and improve existing system.
• Knowledge on Banking Domain especially AML/KYC domain is an added advantage.
Skills:
• Expert in Core Java, J2EE, Spring boot, Hibernate, JPA with backend Oracle database technologies and must be hands-on.
• Experience in working large web based projects. Financial application is an advantage.
• Expert level knowledge in Design patterns
• Micro Services and Open shift (Optional)
• High Proficiency in Open Source Technologies/Framework/Tools
• Expert level in Design skills, strong in terms of refactoring, best coding practices and code optimization.
• Experience in rest/soap web services, JMS and service oriented environment
• Working knowledge of Maven/Jenkin build process, Cruise Control and version control systems like Subversion
• Understanding Unix/Linux and Shell scripting.
• Comfortable working with remote teams.
• Very good in terms of understanding requirements and converting into technical specification.
Qualifications:
• Educational requirements: BE/B. Tech Degree preferably Masters
