We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
• Responsible for delivering various projects
• Will require excellent leadership skills to ensure the team is engaged, motivated and driven.
• Act as a subject matter expert for junior members of the team.
• Keeping the team members motivated and aligned in their work and ensuring quality delivery.
• Stakeholder Management, Different levels of stakeholders with different expectation levels will need to be managed on an ongoing basis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and spoken) – comfortable with detail
• Experience of working within multi-site teams
• Cultivates a collaborative and cooperative attitude across different work cultures
• Ability to work under pressure and manage own time
• Ability to work on own or as part of a team
• Ownership of tasks assigned to ultimate resolution
• Working knowledge of Source code repository tool GitHub Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Relevant work experience in Agile, Java Frameworks, Messaging, Databases and Testing methodologies
• Working experience of all layers/tiers of the project on Back End database design
• Experience in all phases in the Development Life Cycle
• Very strong working experience and expertise of Java, Micro Services
• Very strong expertise on Java based framework like Spring, Hibernate etc.
• Have working experience of micro services supported framework like Spring Boot.
• Experience of writing complex SQL queries with knowledge do SQL tuning
• Good understanding of Behavior Driven Development and Test Driven Development approach
• Knowledge on Cloud Technologies like Paas & IaaS.
• Very good understanding of architecture and design patterns used for Web Application Framework
• Experience with formal release procedures and source control
• Have fair understanding of Architecture and Design requirements for building Cloud Native Application.
The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:
• Ability to prioritize work to successfully deliver service to agreed levels in a diverse and constantly changing environment
• Effectively co-ordinate delivery of services involving elements delivered by other internal/external teams
• Strong customer focus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and management ability, motivating IT employees
• Knowledge of Production Support processes and procedures
• Strong process implementation and management skills
• Experience of using IT systems and reporting tools
• Ability to multi-task efficiently
• Ability to work as part of a Global virtual team across multiple regions.
• Exposure / Knowledge of Project Management in Agile/DevOps environment
• Knowledge of Banking Domain.
• Familiarity with Incident / Problem / Change and Release Management procedures.
• Development experience in Agile environment
• UNIX, Windows, Control-M scheduling.
• Experience of Messaging Queue using JMS / Solace or any other equivalent implementation
• Understanding and experience of developing and designing Cloud Friendly applications
• Experience of automated build, deploy tools like Ansible etc.
• Database design, documentation and administration.
• Understanding of managing and building CI/CD pipeline and DevOps principles
