We are “API Adoption & Architecture” Tribe in the Danske IT (A Technology Center for Danske Bank), where we built high-quality APIs which are simple, easy-to-use, accessible and in-demand following industry standards. We build Apis in Distributed Microservices world on our Private Cloud which are based on Synchronous & Asynchronous Architectures and deliver them to other Tribes in the bank.
We are an agile team of highly skilled IT professionals working closely together in an informal atmosphere across Lithuania, Denmark, and India.
We are currently scaling our team to support our API journey in Danske Bank and looking for a skilled Junior Software Engineer to join our Bangalore team.
Mission
You will play a key role in building and deploying microservices for the bank, which should be clean, efficient and scalable in Private Cloud and/or Multi Cloud Platforms. These are essential in our API development journey as it enables organization to integrate with other Domains/Areas in the bank and also with other external parties. This helps the bank to accelerate the Customer Journeys and creates Business Value by making the systems highly available and reliable.
To achieve that, we are looking for a skilled engineer and a qualified team member who lives by agile values, can support the team and tribe grow.
Skills
• 4-6+ years in Software Engineering (Java)
• Solid Experience with Microservices architecture and Container-based development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of SOLID design principles.
• Strong Experience in Spring Frameworks(Spring Boot, MVC, Security etc), JPA and RESTful services
• Experience in core Java-Multithreading, collections, Servlets and JDBC
• Experience in developing APIs in REST Architectural Style.
• Ability to take up initiatives and work independently with minimal or low supervision.
• Experience in writing Unit Tests and knowledgeable in TDD approach.
• Develop Documentation throughout the SDLC.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and a mind-set for automating everything.
• Familiarity/Experience with Cloud Technologies would be added advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to understand and work in Agile Methodology.
• Ability to continuously learn and apply learnings in day-to-day work
