Work Hours: Monday – Friday, between 8:00am to 10:00 pm IST (Should be flexible to work outside these hours, along with being on call for weekend and urgent situations outside these hours.

This role will be part of our Fixed Income and Cash (FIC) IT organization at State Street Global Advisors (SSGA), working in our Development/Operations FICC support team. Our FIC team provides support, analysis and development for the Cash and Fixed Income Portfolio Management business users at SSGA. The candidate will have a blend of ongoing project & support work within our homegrown and vended portfolio construction and middle office systems.
Key responsibilities:
As a member of the FICC team, the candidate will utilize his skills to ramp up and gain exposure in both the functional investment and technical domains to provide solutions to our end users. On a day to day basis, the job may entail working as a team to resolve a production issue, working on an ongoing enhancement to our existing platform, or interacting with our business partners to prioritize and gather requirements on future initiatives.
Essential Qualifications:
10+ Years of experience in Java , Spring Boot, Hibernate, Oracle SQL, Sybase, Rest API.
Developing and maintaining middle-tier and backend modules using Java, Spring, messaging, PL/SQL technologies.
Good to know Linux, Perl and Python
Playing a key developer role in an experienced, energetic onshore/offshore team on a rapid, agile development schedule
Working closely with the product owners and analysts to design, model, and develop changes for both new and existing projects
Tuning backend queries for better application and system performance
Facing production issues by reviewing code and logs as needed and come up with solutions
