JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for designing, coding, and modifying software system that is focused on logistic • Work with product owners, different stakeholders, team leads, web, back end and mobile developers, and any other team members as appropriate • Work with the internal and external business users to understand the requirements as and when appropriate • Actively participate in system architect designing • Work independently on system module design, development and output documents following best practices • Research technical details and solve challenging issues • Work with team leads to keep track of the project plan and timeline • Work with front-end & back-end developers to deliver products on time with quality Work with tester to address product issues and get the product tested • Work with the build and release team to get the products hosted in an appropriate hosting environment • Work with product owners and service teamsto solve reported issues PRIMARY SKILLS • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent. 6+ years JAVA/J2EE development experience on mid to large scale projects • 3+ years Microservices development experience using SpringBoot and SpringCloud • Fluent in database technology like MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Elasticsearch and Redis • Experience in popular frameworks, such as Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA and Hibernate Experience on microservice's architecture, including service naming and discovery, centralized configuration, API call tracking and tracing fault tolerance and cross cutting concerns. • Experience with Kafka, Kafka Streams and Kafka Connectors Experience with deployments on Docker, Kubernetes, Tomcat, JBoss • Experience in working with AWS or GCP cloud environments • Knowledge of agile development practices and Linux • Independent and able to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. • Experience in understanding and effectively communicating user requirements. Implementing functional and solutions oriented software in a quick and agile environment • Working knowledge of Logistics industry
