Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer who is passionate about delivering business value and leading transformative technology initiatives. This role will be instrumental in modernizing a legacy mortgage application system by integrating a third-party vendor solution with a core banking platform. Key Responsibilities
• Lead and execute the integration of third-party solutions with internal banking systems, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using modern frameworks and tools.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and deliver high-quality, maintainable software.
• Advocate and implement Agile and SAFe principles to ensure timely and incremental delivery.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using DevOps best practices.
• Perform code reviews, pair programming, and mentor junior developers.
• Utilize Jira and Confluence to manage work items, documentation, and sprint tracking.
• Investigate and resolve technical uncertainties through research and "spikes."
• Participate in release planning, deployment, production support, and knowledge transfer sessions.
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in Full-Stack Development.
• Strong command of Java (Spring Boot), Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
• Hands-on experience deploying microservices to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• In-depth understanding of REST APIs and web services architecture.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and core Java frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL for backend data operations.
• Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Snyk, and SonarQube.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to ideation sessions and the ability to translate conceptual ideas into technical solutions.
• Experience refining product backlogs and providing effort estimations.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior developers.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with global teams across product, engineering, QA, and business analysis.
