Golang/Java and Microservice
Experience – 2-5 years
Location – Bangalore
Educational Qualifications: BE/B.Tech., ME, M.Tech., MCA
Roles and Responsibilities:
o Code is deployed into production frequently with minimal impact
o Work is delivered in timeframes committed to by yourself and/or the team
o New features are developed that meet our target state
o Code has no security vulnerabilities when deployed into production
o Team is owning their technical solutions and platforms
o Contribute to High Performance Team environment
o Actively share knowledge with your entire team
o Development of stable, secure and well architected code
o To always leave code in a better state than it was when starting
o Your code is adequately tested
o Train and mentor all members within your team when needed
o Escalate issues/risks to manager when needed
o Ensure appropriate consideration is given to testing, security, stability, reliability and monitoring (to meet the team’s definition of done)
o Drive technical decisions and direction within your team and across your platforms
o Support ad hoc initiatives as required
o Weekly or ad hoc project meetings attended if requested
o Challenge your team to think about aligning their implementations to our engineering target state
o Owns the end-to-end delivery of the teams products/platforms
o Ensuring you’re continually improving our engineering practices
o Reduce team distractions to allow the team to work more effectively
o Managing key stakeholders for your team
o Your team has time within their sprints to innovate and experiment
Skills
o Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent
o 2-5 years’ experience in similar role
o Strong Golang/java and microservice experience
o Exposure to large scale distributed systems
o Knowledge of high throughput Microservice based architectures
o Experience with AWS (or other cloud technologies)
o You continually automate manual processes to drive efficiency
o Have a sense of ownership of technical projects and improvement of engineering practices
o You are a person who continually self learns and improves your technical skillsets
o Are curious, tenacious, creative, but are also a great team player
