Job Title: Software Engineer - Java Developer
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications that meet our clients' needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, implement software solutions, and ensure the timely delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, including web applications, desktop applications, and enterprise systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Java programming language and related frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse project requirements, contribute to system design, and provide technical expertise.
• Conduct thorough testing of developed applications to ensure they meet desired functionality, performance, and security requirements.
• Troubleshoot and debug software defects, perform code maintenance, refactoring, and optimization.
• Participate in system design discussions, suggest best practices, and ensure adherence to software development principles and coding standards.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, frameworks, and best practices in Java development.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, such as design documents, code comments, and user guides.
• Collaborate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Follow software development best practices, including version control, code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration.
• Provide support for production systems, investigate, and resolve issues reported by end-users.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of Java programming language and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software development methodologies.
• Proficiency in Java development tools (e.g., Eclipse, IntelliJ) and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
• Hand-on experience in Micro Services with Spring Boot and use of tools like SonarQube, Jenkins, AWS
• Experience with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX) and web application frameworks (e.g., Spring MVC).
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and SQL query optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) is a plus.
