Job Title: Java Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Java Developer with 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development, specifically with expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Spring Batch. As a Java Developer, you will be an integral part of our development team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable Java applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Spring Batch to meet project requirements and business objectives.
- Coding and Debugging: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, and actively participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Database Integration: Develop and optimize database interactions using Hibernate for efficient data retrieval and persistence.
- Spring Batch Jobs: Design implement, and manage batch processing jobs using Spring Batch for tasks such as data processing, data migration, and automated data imports.
- API Development: Develop RESTful APIs and web services, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and well-documented.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other performance issues within the application.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Create and execute unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of the software.
- Version Control: Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage codebase and collaborate effectively with the development team.
- Documentation: Document code, technical designs, and system architecture to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintenance.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Agile Development: Work within an Agile/Scrum development environment, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to the team's continuous improvement efforts.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide support and troubleshoot issues in production environments, including bug fixes and performance optimizations.
- Spring Batch Experience is must
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 to 5 years of professional experience in Java application development.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
- Solid experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Spring Batch is a must.
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and development.
- Knowledge of SQL and database design principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications (not required but beneficial):
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
