Rate: £365 per day

Model: Hybrid
Overview:
We are working with a leading consultancy, in collaboration with a major investment bank, to bring on board a highly skilled Application Developer for an exciting project based in Glasgow. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact initiative supporting critical financial operations on a global scale.
Responsibilities:
• Application Development: Design, build, and configure applications to meet complex business requirements.
• Team Leadership: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and lead your team in making critical decisions, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
• Solution Delivery: Provide innovative solutions to technical challenges, contributing across multiple teams.
• Technical Excellence: Implement best practices, coding standards, and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure the highest quality in deliverables.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive ongoing improvements in application performance.
Key Skills Required:
• Java: Expert proficiency
• Spring Boot: Advanced proficiency
• AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS): Intermediate proficiency
• CI/CD: Intermediate proficiency
Additional Information:
• This role is 60% onsite in Glasgow.
