Job Description:

As a Remote Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable Java applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions that meet the client’s requirements and exceed their expectations. This role requires a strong understanding of core Java principles, experience in developing enterprise-level applications, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and Development: Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable Java-based applications and services.
• Code Optimisation: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices in coding standards.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Documentation: Produce well-organized documentation for code, APIs, and development processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously seek to improve existing codebases.

Required Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Java development.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Java and J2EE technologies.
• Experience with frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, or similar.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
