Job Description
We are a growing medium-sized business with headquarters in the historical city of Weimar, Germany. With continuous coordination with legal authorities from around the world (e.g. customs authorities, export control authorities). We are the leading provider of customs/global trade data, helping companies from a diverse range of industries.
Tasks
• Contributing and taking part in software and architectural development
• Developing well-designed, efficient, and testable code
• Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
• Troubleshooting and resolving reported issues and replying to requests on time
• Preparing and producing releases of software components
• Producing detailed software design documentation.
• Improving the code quality by implementing best practices.
• Recommending changes to improve established java application processes
Requirements
• You have completed Bachelor or Master Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or any other related field.
• Candidates applying for this position should possess at least 3 years of work experience as a Java developer.
• You should have experience in: JUnit tests &Maven
• It is nice if you have experience in: Jenkins build system, Data flow management tools such as Apache Nifi, JAXB
• It is a big plus if you have: experience in Linux OS and experience in OSS projects.
