As a Software Engineer III at Payments Technology, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities:
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Software engineering experience including but not limited to any of the following:
2+ years' of applied hands-on development experience in javascript and UI framework such as ReactJS/Angular.
Expertise in designing UI for enterprise scale applications, experience in leading UI development
Thorough understanding of RESTful HTTP
If full-stack - Experience in Java/Spring, Cloud(AWS/K8), microServices.
Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle
Familiarity with integrations: Kafka, IBM MQ' Active MQ, familiarity with DevOps tools like Jules, Jenkins, Maven
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
Agile Scrum experience will be an added consideration along with the technical skills set.
Knowledge of Payments in Banking domain, AWS/Private Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes will be a plus.
