Job Description
We are looking for a great backend developer who is proficient with Java Your primary focus will be on developing backend components and restful APIs and implementing them in a well-known Spring Boot framework. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality products are important.
Responsibilities
Developing backend components using Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate
Building reusable components and libraries for future use
Translating high-level architecture into high-quality code
Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
Unit testing
Skills
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring boot, hibernate, Core Java, Microservices architecture
Thorough understanding of multithreading and its core principles
Design patterns and architecture
Strong data structure and problem-solving skills
Experience in working with RESTful APIs
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
Knowledge of CICD processes

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years experience in developing RESTful APIs in Java & Spring
Start-up experience is a plus
Strong accountability, work ethic, and sense of urgency
Experience working with a remote team is a plus
Raise the bar for technical standards, performance, reliability, and overall code quality
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or equivalent
