Responsibilities
• Write robust production grade code including test coverage using Java Spring/Springboot
• JavaScript, Web development tools and frameworks, CSS.
• Web and server programming and Responsive/Adaptive design. Create high fidelity prototypes and reference code to communicate complex design concepts to the rest of the team and technical stakeholders.
• Work with visual and interaction designers to ensure compliance with key standards for current and future services.
• Work closely with Architecture, Engineering and QA to create successful ways of working between Engineering and Design.
• Communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Understand and contribute to distributed software architecture.
• Lead and guide a team of Java developers throughout the software development lifecycle, mentoring.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Leverage AWS Services and open source technologies to build resilient, High-performance web services including: Elasticache (Redis), DynamoDb, SQS and Kafka.
• Design and architect Java-based solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and efficient.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, code & design documents.
• Code reviews, Coverage
