Job Description
We are looking for a skilled JavaScript developer proficient in jQuery to help build, test, and implement user-facing web features for our clients. As a jQuery Developer, you will be responsible for assessing the feasibility of UI/UX designs, building reusable JS code and libraries, and implementing new product features.
To ensure success as a jQuery developer, you should have extensive experience with JavaScript and detailed knowledge of jQuery and associated JS libraries. Top-notch jQuery developers should be able to build highly robust user-facing modules that meet the needs of the client and are easy to maintain.
Responsibilities:
• Develop new user-facing features and functionalities.
• Build reusable code, libraries and plugins.
• Building highly efficient code and libraries using JavaScript and jQuery.
• Optimize components for maximum speed and scalability
• Debugging and maintaining code and integrations
• Manipulating, structuring and styling DOM using JavaScript or jQuery
• Developing and customizing web applications adhering to industry standards, and best practices.
• Stay up to date on the latest coding strategies, best practices, trending methodologies and troubleshooting, and tactical technologies useful to our environment.
Requirements:
• should have 1-2 years of experience in JavaScript, jQuery or similar position in the IT industry.
• should have detailed knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery and associated JS libraries.
• should have strong understanding of features and utility functions of jQuery.
• should have good understanding of web markup tools including CSS3 and HTML5.
• should have excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• should have familiarity with cross-browser compatibility issues.
• should have Understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitHub is value added
• should have basic knowledge of ES6, Angular, React and similar frameworks.
• should have understanding of API integration
