Job Summary:
As a JavaScript Developer (Automated Testing Platform), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a platform for automated testing using JavaScript programming language. You will work with a team of developers, collaborating on projects to create efficient and effective software solutions that meet the needs of clients or end-users in the testing domain. You will need to have a strong understanding of JavaScript programming language and experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain an automated testing platform using JavaScript programming language
• Design and implement software solutions that automate the testing process
• Collaborate with other developers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to improve software quality
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in JavaScript programming language and related testing frameworks and tools
• Ensure software is delivered on-time and meets or exceeds customer expectations
• Develop and maintain documentation related to software development processes and projects
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a JavaScript Developer or similar role in automated testing domain
• Strong understanding of JavaScript programming language and its ecosystem (libraries, frameworks, tools, etc.)
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Postman, SQL, J-unit, Jest, Mocha, Chai, Cypress, etc.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git, SVN)
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes
• Experience with testing cloud-based applications and microservices
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
