Department: - Finance IT
• In this role, you will: ITSO/Incident Management for multiple PODs. Delivery Lead for 1 POD. Report progress and identify and raise any issues/risks, escalating as appropriate to enable satisfactory resolution. Build trusting relationships with stakeholders by consistently meeting and delivering upon their business needs; demonstrating and being respected for your domain knowledge. Establish and maintain good communication and relationships, both internal (onshore/offshore) and external to the Bank as a representative of the analysis domain. Proactively interacts with and provides support to delivery partners to ensure the needs of the business are met, while at the same time, understanding technical implications. An open, flexible, positive and supportive approach to change and innovation. Consistently achieve objectives set for individual and taken action to improve their own and the team performance. Making sure SLAs are followed for IN/Patching .Review right controls in place , no cyber issues open, right processes followed to make sure IN/Problem Records/Access controls in place. Looking at opportunities to reduce the complexity of the IT enterprise and reduction in Run The Bank costs. Ensures the level of automation within the pod is optimised at all times, reducing the need for human intervention in the design, development and operational lifecycles, including decisions on tooling to achieve optimal performance Accountable for ensuring products and services maintain compliance with mandatory and regulatory requirements and control objectives within the risk and controls framework.Responsible for ensuring group controls are maintained within the pod activities and remediation activities are resolved swiftly Responsible for ensuring that all activities performed within the Pod adhere to the relevant data standards and data controls (as defined by HSBC FIM) Accountable for the operational stability, integrity and availability of products and services supported by the pod. Ensure timely resolution of any issues and proactive communication to all stakeholders involved Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• String understanding of ITIL/Change Management /IN Management framework
• Strong Technical Skills , Troubleshooting attitude , problem management skills , Growth mindset and Team building capability/Leading from front is essential for the role
• Having experience of HSBC projects is really helpful
• Two or more skills from the following and a desire to learn quickly where gaps:
• Strong with Java/SQL commands
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands and coding
• Technical knowledge of Control-M or similar Batch scheduling
