Job Profile:
We are looking for a highly creative and skilled Jewellery Designer cum Merchandiser to join our Innovation team as a Product Creator. This unique role combines designing exquisite jewellery pieces with the strategic responsibilities of merchandising, ensuring that designs align with market demands, production timelines, and inventory needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Jewellery Design:
• Create original and trend-forward jewellery designs, including sketches, CADs, and prototypes.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are manufacturable within quality and budget specifications.
• Research and incorporate current jewellery trends, materials, and gemstones into new collections.
Merchandising:
• Analyze market trends and customer preferences to influence design direction and collections.
• Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and manage the flow of inventory.
• Set pricing strategies for designs based on cost analysis and competitive pricing.
• Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure designs are promoted effectively and meet sales targets.
Skills:
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix).
• Strong knowledge of materials, gemstones, and jewellery-making techniques.
